Buddha Temple

The Buddha Temple in the Lake District have delicate tapestries hanging inside the temple. The Buddha Temple wanted Filmshield to install a solution that would prevent the tapestries from being faded by the sun as well as reducing the glare and heat build up.

A prestige outlet for Honda in Newcastle Upon Tyne were suffering from glare and solar heat gain in their show room. They needed a product that would give a high performance, but at the same time did not obscure the viewing of the cars in the show room. Filmshield applied a HP natural 25 which cut down the glare 70% and the heat reduction up to 58%, at the same time enabling the viewing of the showroom from the exterior.

Inland Revenue Northern Head Quarters

Working closely with the government sector the Inland Revenue approached Filmshield UK to implement a case study on their glazing at their new northern head quarters. The building being of a modern and a contemporary high tech speck had already considered glare and heat build up within the open plan office areas. The AON Tower with Night Vision Film

At 62 stories, the AON Tower, Los Angeles, is one of the world’s tallest buildings. To control heat and glare the building’s management had window film applied to the glass in the 1980’s. Nearly two decades later, the building was due for a facelift because of the flaw of all window films around that time. The film had a purple tint.

UK Embassy in Chisinau in Moldova

The UK embassy needed to cut down on the solar glare problems and heat build up in there Embassy.
In Chisinau based in Moldova, the survey was carried out by James Henderson (European Sales Director)
On inspection of the glazing it was found that the make up of the glass was an 18mm laminated high security product.
This application had to be an external fix incase of stress and the likely hood of thermal cracking.
