Problem: An inner city multiple office space helping small business in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, have a south facing curtain wall which is situated opposite the work space areas situated on 3 floors with this in mind the glare on the computer screens and work stations was intense.
Solution: Filmshield applied a 3M RE 15 Silver Reflective Film to the external face of the glazing, this was an external application as the makeup of the glazing was double glazed of laminate and tougened glass,if applied to the inside of the glazing this could cause thermal stress and then creat thermal cracking.
