Working closely with the government sector the Inland Revenue approached Filmshield UK to implement a case study on their glazing at their new northern head quarters. The building being of a modern and a contemporary high tech speck had already considered glare and heat build up within the open plan office areas. Therefore the architect that specified solar glass (tinted low emmsimitity glass) had been used in the final build.

With this in mind the building still suffered from glare and heat builds up in the open plan areas. The solution to the problem was to use 3M night vision 25 to eliminate reflection on internal glazing during the hours of darkness and hours of daylight as the building is used in a 24 hour operation. See performance data attached.
